24-7 Telcom & West Wisconsin Telcom Cooperative, Inc. will be offering scholarships to 2025 High School graduates who plan to further their education at a Technical College or University.
Twenty lucky graduates will each receive a $1000.00 scholarship.

Applications must be received by noon March 24, 2025.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by a random drawing on Saturday, April 5th, 2025.
The 2025 Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship
The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), in cooperation with NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, seeks to sustain and enhance the quality of life in America by advancing an understanding of rural issues. Through its various programs and initiatives, FRS strongly supports the continuing education of rural youth. As an NTCA member, West Wisconsin Telcom is proud to offer the FRS Scholarship opportunity to graduating high school students within our WWT Cooperative exchanges.
Once again, we are partnering with the Foundation for Rural Service college scholarship program which will award thirty $2,500 scholarships. West Wisconsin Telcom will contribute $500.
The James L. Bass Legal Scholarship
The Foundation for Rural Service is happy to announce that the application for the James L. Bass Legal Scholarship is now available.
Thank you to the NTCA Board of Directors and everyone who contributed. Established by the FRS, this scholarship is offered to students entering their first year of law school and have an interest in working in rural communities.
The first James L. Bass Legal Scholarship, approximately $5,000, will be awarded in spring 2025.
Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation (WSTA) Scholarship Application
The Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors throughout the State of Wisconsin. In 2024, twenty-six $1,500 scholarships were awarded; one $1,500 Bruce Reuber WSTF Memorial Scholarship; five $750 scholarships to students attending a technical college.
Students in graduating classes of high schools in Wisconsin are eligible for a Foundation scholarship. Each applicant must be endorsed by a participating local exchange telephone company. Academic excellence is taken into consideration but is not paramount to receiving one of the scholarships.
