What Is It? Postini is an e-mail virus and junk e-mail filtering service provided by West Wisconsin Telcom and 24-7 Telcom that can block junk e-mail and viruses before they get to your e-mail inbox. Postini filtering secures and manages email, without the need for additional software or hardware on the customer's computer. Within milliseconds, Postini separates spam and viruses from legitimate messages. Legitimate email is then passed on to the user's e-mail account. Once messages have been quarantined in your message center you can either delete them or deliver them to your inbox. You can fine tune your account by selecting the level of filtering and adding e-mail addresses and domains to an approved senders list or a blocked senders list.
