Let’s Connect to Chippewa Valley Bean

The Doane family farm was homesteaded in 1858 in Dunn County, Wisconsin.

Chippewa Valley Bean (CVB) was founded in the late 60’s when the Doanes started growing kidney beans and has since grown to become the largest processor and exporter of dark red kidney beans in North America.

CVB also exports across the globe and is a two-time recipient of the Governor’s Export Achievement Award for their continued growth and expansion. Currently, Chippewa Valley Bean has 35 full-time employees and numerous seasonal staff.

“It is safe to say that 99% of our business communication, including buying and selling, is being done digitally. Having access to highspeed, fiber optic communications has made a big difference to our company, allowing us to grow and expand our operations,” said Cindy Brown, President of Chippewa Valley Bean. “CVB relies on up-to-date news and weather, as well as being able to transfer GPS and crop data gathered by our new generation of farming equipment. We appreciate the foresight 24-7 & West Wisconsin Telcom had when they made the decision to install fiber optic communication for their members. It would be difficult to run our
business without it.”
